Akebi Feedback #656

Hello, there doesn't seem to be a way to delete duplicate words on lists. Tried looking in the '...' section but there is none.

That's strange... Can you scroll the menu at all? This is what it looks like for me:

RemoveDuplicates

it is not intuitive finding the handwriting tool at all. I still haven't found it after several minutes. ....

Sorry about that. Please try out the tutorial. Alternatively, just press on the "search" button without anything in the search bar. If that doesn't work, please upgrade to the beta here.

Akebi Feedback #653

Hi Matt, would it be possible to add option to hide on and kun from kanji grid drills? (I am given english word, I have to write kanji and remember readings, then result with all is shown) Also it would be very nice to have Google Drive (and other) backup options so we can move our grids and sets between phone and tablet! Anyway thanks for Akebi, I'm using it a lot both as dictionary and learning tool and it's great!

I'll take a look. Thanks!

This is severe nitpicking, feel free to ignore: 1. There's no mention of the precise beta version (-19, etc) in the app 2. Seems you didn't list Version 52&53 as -18&-19 on the craxic changelog website
(Received on 2017-08-13 21:26:52)

Heya! Thanks lol, fixed. You should be able to check the app's precise version in Android settings / Apps, but your point stands - it isn't available in the app. Thanks!

Two questions out of pure curiosity… 1. There's a license check in Akebi? 2. Also, it's name is "Akebi". As in, there's going to be an "akebipremium"?
(Received on 2017-07-13 13:00:23)

Hey! No, there's no license check. But downloading the apk extension obb/data files in-app requires a license from the play store last I checked. Once you've got the data files though, its fine.

It's called "akebifree" because when i started Akebi, it was a paid app (com.craxic.akebi) for about a week. I wanted to make money and help people. Then I realized I just wanted to help people, and so I released the whole thing for free. Due to play store reasons, I had to rename the package to "akebifree".

Regarding the "X" button issue, my device is a Galaxy Note 5, running Android 7.0. It happens with perfect consistency on my device.

Fantastic! Thanks so much! Now I've just gotta find someone with one of those...

Akebi Feedback #649

If possible, can we have the option to see history word searches? Sometimes I want to see the meaning of the word I searched before, but the word slipped my mind ... it would really be a big help. By the way, thank you so much for all you've done here. I really appreciate it.

Hey there! Please check out the beta here.

Akebi Feedback #648

Hello ! Thanks for this amazing app. I just want to report a bug that I experience. When I search for a word, and then I want to erase the search terms using the cross next to the search field, the search terms seems to disappear as expected, but as soon as I type in the new search terms, the old ones reappear. Cheers, Thomas

Hey there Tom! What device are you using at the moment? Which android version? What are you searching for? I'm finding it hard to reproduce this bug, and it's obviously pretty important.
