is there a look-up to confusable kanji in terms of shape meaning and pronunciation? Thanks
hello. I appreciate Akebi very much. Had it existed 20 years back my Japanese litany level would have been different. However, is there a easy way to make all grade 1 to 9 kanjis into flashcards and remove the ones that you knew.
If I use the second bar and type anything with a capital letter it refuses to do anything. Got stuck in tutorial for a mins because of it. (Aida is not registered the same way as aida). Phones keyboards tend to auto cap the first letter in the beginning of any sentence. Ideally things aren't case sensitive, but if it's too much work to change then please add a note that it's case sensitive in tutorial so others don't have this problem. Also, going to give a +1 to a history feature, which probably has been requested/suggested before. Sometimes you just want to look up that thing you just looked up. :l And uhh, if you want a reach for the stars suggestion being able to send current entry to anki as a card would be glorious. Both from main screen search and when clicking around the "words that feature this kanji" green section. Yes, I'm sure it'd be annoying to implement, but you never said to be reasonable! =D Cheers and thanks for the fish.
multiple selection option would help creating lists imo.
I'm in love with this app, but I do have one suggestion - maybe it's just personal preference, but I wouldn't mind the kanji radical search results being organized by stroke order (4 stroke results, 5 stroke results, etc). I think it would make it a bit easier to search when I'm looking for a specific character and can guess the number of strokes.
Hello, ッ-radical and its derivatives like the one in 愛 are not shown properly in decomposition but represented by a gray empty circle. This error apparently occurs only on smaller screens(720p) since on Nexus7(2013) ッ is shown although also in a gray circle. I also noticed that this radical is not shown in 3-strokes section. Best regards
Hey Akebi Team! I just started using this app and so far, it's been really great! Another feature I'd like to see is a "History" list. I like to add what I've searched into Anki to build up my vocabulary. Right now, I've just been adding words into my lists, but it's a bit of a hassle while I'm simultaneously trying to read a long article in Japanese. Thanks for your app and keep up the great work!
I can't see any translation for the kanji I captured
Could you please please add a list for just the Kanji radicals? I love your design and your definitions and this whole app sooo much but it's quite a struggle to find the Radicals between all the Kanji :D That would be so much help! Thank you for this awesome App and a happy new Year!
I would really like if you put hiragana and katakana too. and the romaji for of kana
