On stock Nexus 5 and stock keyboard, the keyboard still pops up by default once I enter search. I think it would also be nice if the recognition box was shrunk down a little. I think the feel of the interface would be much improved if the default search window didn't require scrolling up and down to see everything. I don't mind if it expands after we begin searching but not until then, and leave some room for scrolling down and to the side. just some minor tweaks that I feel would improve the feel of the app. Otherwise, great work.

I've had this requested by at least 3 other users... It's really difficult for me since I only have a Nexus 7, and the emulators the Android SDK comes with aren't exactly fast. I'll try to make this better in the next version.

I can't type shyu and words like that... So how do I write it? I hate the fact that you people are making it more and more complicated. The older versions were easier to use: please do something about it.

I understand your frustration... I guess I got too caught up in adding features I forgot it needs to be simple too. I'll try and make it more self explanitory in the next version (but it's going to take some work. If you're interested in helping with testing and stuff please send me an email)

Nice app! One request: is it possible to view example sentences in the dictionary with Hiragana? or a link to the dictionary definition of words used in the example sentences?

It sure is possible! Just press the arrow at the right of the example sentences! This feature is a bit dodgy at the moment because I rolled my own "morphological analysis" algorithm (mmm nerdy), because I had no idea they already existed. As such, its nowhere near as well done as well developed and researched (10+ years) algorithms such as "Mecab". It will be a bit of an effort to swap over, so its a bit of a low priority at the moment. But my algorithm gets it right about 70-80% of the time, and that's better than nothing I guess!

Hey there! I found out about this app through your reddit thread. Just wanted to thank you for putting so much work into this dictionary, I absolutely love it! I'm using a Vega No. 6 and it works lightning fast for me :)
