Akebi Feedback #687

I love being able to add cards to Ankidroid, it's sooo convenient. What would make this feature even better is being able to specify a tag(s) to add to the card.

All done! Thanks!

Akebi Feedback #686

Hi. reporting a bug here. the option in settings (about how much XP until a Kanji is considered committed) is bugged. you can't choose a number starting with 1, and if you try to click 1, it places a 2 instead. I also suggest a "default settings" button to be able to revert unthought changes. thank you.

Very strange. Though I can't see this issue in the beta version, would you be able to try that please?

Awesome App! the more I use it, the more functions I find that are useful! Is there a way I can donate to support your great efforts?

Thanks so much for the kind words! I've just added a donate option to the beta version (after popular request).

Akebi Feedback #683

Just noticed: For some reason in the options menu under "word details category order" the entry for conjugations shows up twice. Apart from that I'm really amazed by how you keep implementing cool new stuff in the app recently. Thanks bunches and keep it up!

Ah cheers! Fixed.

Not sure if it just my phone, but そとだし comes up with a very different meaning. I am a student so I might not know any better but I'm pretty sure it is wrong

Oh my god... I don't actually write the entries, so I'll have to notify WWWJDICT about that... Anyways please upgrade to the beta!

Sorry! I just realized I should have hit "Next" instead of just going straight to the Play Store. I think your directions are pretty detailed now that I have had a second look. I still think putting more emphasis on copying/protecting the backup files would help others not to make the same mistake that I did. My apologies for not checking the facts more carefully before offering feedback. (^_^;) m (_ _) m -Kenichi

Hey Kenichi.

Before you do ANYTHING, please backup the folder "AkebiBackup" that is on the root of your device somewhere safe. Please please please! Hopefully it will still have your files in it. If it does we can get them back! But they're liable to go missing at any time, so copy them onto your computer ASAP!

Please send me an email as soon as you get this so we can talk in more detail about what happened, as I don't fully understand whats going on. My system shows that you sent this feedback with the old version; you are not using the beta version right now!

Nice app!it really helps me everyday. however it would.be great to have an option that enables you seeing the kanjis handwritten. I think i would be better. And why not a little french version? But anyways thank sooo much and continue your work!

Just tap the dots in the kanji display area and click "Show stroke order" to show the handwritten version. Anyways, try upgrading to the beta for french!

Akebi Feedback #679

Hey?I've been using akebi for years now and I absolutely love it. It's the best and easy to use offline dictionary in my opinion. I only wish that it would be possible to see the search history somewhere. Keep up the good work!
(Received on 2017-11-08 11:32:12)

Sure! Just upgrade to the beta version! Let me know if you have any troubles!

Akebi Feedback #678

This app is GREAT! I use it almost daily. It's very easy to find what I'm looking for--or even what I think I'm looking for. I'm also a fan of the study lists that give me the ability to collect various assortments of Japanese words/Kanji. It's also great that Akebi highlights words in the dictionary that are already part of the active study list. One improvement that I think would add even more to this wonderful app would be to have the option to activate all study lists and color code the lists so that when a highlighted word appears in a dictionary search, it's easire to know if you have already saved it and which list to find that word in. So it would operate almost the same way that it operates now except that instead of just having the words for the active list highlighted, all words in the other lists will also be highlighted according to each list's respective color if the user chooes to activat that option. I hope you see this change as worthwhile. Thanks so much for putting such great time, effort, and skill into this amazing app! -Kenichi

Hi Kenichi. Thanks for the kind words! A few people have asked about activating several lists. It's a good idea, and I'll see what I can do if I have time to get around to it. But please, please upgrade to the beta version! Thanks.
