Akebi Feedback #717

Would be neat to parameterize searches, eg. "t:n" just for nouns, "t:tv" for transitive verbs etc.

I've thought about something like that. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Akebi Feedback #716

is it possible to add new words? like 万事如意.
(Received on 2018-02-19 12:47:57)

Sure! Just create a list to store the word. Then open the list and press the "+" button in the action bar to add a word. Type the new word into the box and press "create custom word". If you want to add translations or anything else, select the word and hit the edit option in the "..." button in the word display. Remember to activate the list to display the new word in search results.

Akebi Feedback #715

Many example sentences show 橋 pronounced as "きょう" when it should obviously be pronounced "はし". It seems your algorithm is mistakenly choosing a very obscure word rather than the correct and much more common word. I do love the app, though.

Ah sorry about that. As you can imagine, making an algorithm to do this is quite tricky. I'll see what I can do!

Akebi Feedback #714

Since the UI overhaul, finding words has become more difficult, because you only ever get two matches + autocorrect and there is no obvious way to force akebi to continue searching for the entered phrase.

Hey there! That's incredibly strange. I'm not sure what's wrong! Would you be able to send me an email with a screenshot so I can fix it? My email is on Akebi's home menu. Sorry about that!

Akebi Feedback #713

Hi, once again thank you for this great app. I have one minor problem with this newer version though: how do I name a folder? No problem with the lists, but I can't find a way to name a folder, which would be quite useful.
(Received on 2018-02-12 06:45:05)

Long press the folder, then press the pencil icon in the action bar. Sorry, I'll have to make this clearer.

Akebi Feedback #710

hi there, with the recent update i noticed a key function has disappeared!! it's no longer possible to send words to multiple lists?? only to the currently activated list is there still a way to send words to other lists? this was a key function for me thanks!
(Received on 2018-02-10 20:07:53)

It still is! Just press the "..." button on the word, then "Send to", then select the list. A few people have complained about this, so I'll have to fix it up. Thanks!

would be great if there was a way to disable syncing the card definition when syncing with ankidroid. That way it would be possible to customize the content displayed.
(Received on 2018-02-09 17:45:37)

Hey there! You can simply create your own card type in Ankidroid however you please. Perhaps, just copy the "Akebi Default" card type and remove the Definition from the back of the card. Then, in Akebi, select the new card type and fill in the options. I hope this is what you mean!
