I think the kanji for ็›ดใ€€ choku, straight, taosu, defeat. shows up differently in the app. might want to double check that

All fixed in the beta! Cheers!

offer more Romaji? I don't know how to pronounce anything otherwise
(Received on 2016-07-28 06:17:44)

Yep, I might add this into the beta before a full release. Thanks!

Akebi Feedback #603

Hey dev! Can you please add an option where users can change between "hiragana/katakana" and "romaji" or the onyomi and kunyomi readings?

We'll see if I can add something like that into the beta before full release.

Akebi Feedback #602

Hello, First I wanted to say that I'm loving Akebi and wouldn't even mind pay for it (if there will be a paid version or just through donations). I have two questions: 1. I know that we can export our lists. However, the exported files are binary files. I was wondering if there is a way to convert them CSV, or txt files for use in other applications? 2. It's a bit of a stretch, but occasionally, there are multiple kanji for a word without any indication of the most common format. As long as there are example sentences, I usually pick the one with the most number of examples. But, I'd really appreciate it if the app shows which kanji is the most common one. Thank you again for such a great product

Hey there! In the newest beta, the multiple kanjis for a word are combined into one. This should help with this.

Akebi Feedback #601

Hello. look, I was trying the languages feature. I activated English, German and Spanish but in results, instead of German there's french.

That's awful strange... Looks like its fixed now though!

Custmizable cards with Examples would be great becuase I write grammer meanings with your app and if I can add examples to the card that would be great and thanks a lot, your app helped me make a lot of things easier

That could be quite tough for me to add in easily. It might have to come after I add in some kind of sentence analysis feature. Thanks!

Akebi Feedback #599

Doubtless not the first person to ask for this, but would love to be able to do flashcard sets based on JLPT levels, etc. Gotta learn how to read all the kanji before I can learn how to write them. Currently, it looks like the only way to do this is to make a list and individually add each entry in the JLPT sets, which is pretty onerous.

Fair point, I'll keep that in mind for later versions.

the furigana over example sentences almost made me weep with joy. you are amazing. I kept akebi as a secret weapon throughout my course history. Now that I t.a. I love waiting until young students have made enough progress and shown enough passion to pass along the torch.
